The Story

Gallagher Bassett (GB) is the largest multidisciplinary third party claims administrator in Australia. They manage claims on behalf of insurers, brokers, government bodies and self insured organisations. In 2022, iCare announced that GB had been selected as the sixth claims service provider. To meet their obligations, GB needed to be ready to receive claims in mid 2023. This required GB scaling from zero to over 150 FTE within a three-month period. With the workforce planning complete, GB needed a strategic sourcing partner that could assist with segmenting the roles, creating unique campaigns to attract candidates and recruiters to source and recruit talent.

Our Role

Businessary was selected as GB’s sourcing partner with a proven track record of advising and navigating the insurance landscape to deliver outstanding results. ​ As an extension of the talent team, Businessary provided a dedicated sourcing team focused on the crucial leader roles that would shape the culture and the internal team focused on all other roles. In parallel with this created campaign assets to attract and source talent highlighting the value proposition for potential talent.
